Long-term and monthly forklift lease provides extended equipment access on a scheduled monthly basis, giving operations the consistency of having dedicated equipment without the upfront capital cost, depreciation, and maintenance responsibility that comes with an outright purchase. This is the middle ground between short-term rental for occasional needs and buying equipment outright for a permanent fleet.
This makes sense for operations with ongoing, predictable equipment needs that don't want to tie up capital in a purchase, businesses that prefer converting equipment costs into a predictable monthly operating expense rather than a large upfront investment, companies wanting the flexibility to upgrade or change equipment specifications as operational needs evolve without being stuck with owned equipment, or growing operations that aren't ready to commit to a specific long-term fleet purchase decision yet.
We start by understanding your operational needs and expected lease duration, since monthly lease terms and equipment selection both depend on how you're actually planning to use the equipment over time. We structure a lease agreement with clear terms around maintenance responsibility, since ongoing maintenance is typically included or available as part of a longer-term lease arrangement, which is a real advantage over ownership where you're responsible for all upkeep. We deliver the equipment and handle setup the same as any rental, with the lease term and monthly structure being the main difference from a short-term arrangement.
Cost is structured as a predictable monthly rate based on the equipment type, lease term length, and whether maintenance is included in the agreement. Operations in Des Moines, IA with multi-month or multi-year equipment needs typically find monthly leasing more cost-effective than repeated short-term rentals over the same period.
